Pat originally got involved in RLT by assistant stage managing In the Cards (June 2000), and went on to stage manage for Office Hours (November 2000), Black Coffee (November 2001), and Windfall (June 2005). She has also stage managed for Regina Summer Stage for HMS Pinafore (July 2001), and has also worked backstage for Do It With Class Young People's Theatre Company, Regina Lyric Light Opera Society, and Saskatchewan Express. Most recently, Pat has been involved in designing sets, including the sets for RLT's productions of Windfall (June 2005), Unity (1918) (April 2005), and All My Sons (October 2004) and coordinating the set for Sweeney Todd (May, 2005) for Regina Lyric Light Opera. In addition, she recently made a venture into technical theatre by working as the lighting technician for the Spring One-Acts (April 2005). |

When she's not volunteering at the theatre, Pat volunteers with the Queen City Marathon. She is also one of the lighting technicians at her church, Northview Community Church, and has recently started to learn to be a sound technician. By day Pat is a manager at the City of Regina in the Utility Billing department. Pat is a rabid reader - current favourites include Iain Banks, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Lois McMaster-Bujold, and Elizabeth Peters. She has a Master's Degree in English from the University of Regina, and her thesis title was Conflict and Resolution: The Divergent Roles of Catholic Men of Faith in Science Fiction. When she's not busy with her volunteer efforts or her position at the City, Pat enjoys the company of her two cats, Felicia and Saffron, and would like to find more time to do some quilting! |
