RLT is a community theatre company that engages amateur (primarily) and professional participants in all aspects of production and administration.

  • RLT is a registered charity and is operated as such in accordance with The Income Tax Act of Canada , administered by Canada Revenue Agency.
  • RLT is a member of Theatre Saskatchewan Inc. , the provincial community theatre organization.
  • RLT is a member of Theatre Regina Inc. , who owns and operates the Regina Performing Arts Centre, where RLT is a tenant.

Currently the events of an RLT season include: an annual general meeting (early September), a season-opening fundraiser gala, five full-length mainstage plays, two sets of one-act plays and a volunteer appreciation party. From time to time RLT hosts workshops and a playwrighting contest. RLT often also participates in theatre festivals.
