otherwise noted below, typical RLT auditions
- take place in the basement
of the Regina Performing Arts Centre (1077 Angus Street,
at 4th Avenue, in Regina);
- begin at 7:30 p.m.
(arriving there a bit early is suggested);
CREW: potential crew members
are asked to come at the start of auditions only to sign up
(fill in a form).
CAST: auditions:
- are open group readings of excerpts from the play itself
in front of the director, stage manager, and other
auditioners;
- last about an hour, usually never more than 2 hours, each
evening;
- you may attend more than one audition session if you like,
but you are guaranteed to read for a part at your first
audition session only;

NOTE: CAST: If you
accept a role in the show, you are REQUIRED to become a
member of RLT by one of the following methods:
(1) be
appointed
an Honourary Life
Member of RLT
by the RLT board of
directors;
(2) purchase 1 or more RLT
season tickets under your own name
(the price of a
season ticket includes a membership fee for the current
season);
(3)
make a charitable
donation to RLT of at least $15.00
(the
first $15.00 of any donation is a membership fee for the
current season);
(4) pay a $15.00
one-time-per-season membership fee.
This RLT membership must be
purchased at the RPAC Box Office
(1077 Angus Street, Regina,
S4T 1Y4; 306-779-2277)
on or before the second
weekday rehearsal of the play in question (if that’s not
possible, other arrangements may be made with the Stage
Manager or the Producer).
NOTE: CREW: The
Director(s) and the Stage Manager(s) are REQUIRED to become
members of RLT by one of the methods listed above. All
other backstage or behind-the-scenes production team or crew
members are strongly encouraged but not required to become
members of RLT. (RLT’s mailing list contains only RLT
members.)
