Going to an RLT show

RLT has two types of plays available for you to see: mainstage plays and one-act plays.

Each main stage play production is performed on four consecutive evenings, from Wednesday to Saturday at the Regina Performing Arts Centre (1077 Angus Street, at 4th Ave). Front doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m.

Typically, an RLT show will average 250-500 audience members per night. Prior to the show and during intermission, audience members may visit RLT's concession stand in the lobby to stock up on drinks and snacks. On Fridays, a cash bar is open to those of legal drinking age, and a Greenroom Party reception is held after the show, providing an opportunity for the audience to mingle with the cast and crew of the show (food is served buffet style, and the cash bar remains open during this event).

Season tickets are available at any time during the season. Season tickets include a small membership fee and tickets at special discounted, for-members-only prices to all mainstage shows remaining in the season at the time of your purchase. Purchasing a season ticket will guarantee you the seat of your choice for the rest of the season.

In addition to mainstage plays, RLT also has two one-act events each season: one in the fall and one in the spring. The event features cabaret-style seating, plenty of food at the concession stand, a cash bar for those of legal drinking age, and quite often fundraising draws or raffles. Tickets for these shows are only $7 apiece, and are not normally included with a season ticket.

Season Tickets - membership hath its privileges!

When you purchases an RLT season ticket, you automatically become a member of RLT. You also get:

—Tickets at 33 to 35 per cent off the regular price to all mainstage shows remaining in the season;
—A Treat a Friend voucher (it's a buy one, get one free voucher) so you can invite your friends to come with you to RLT;
— RLT's newsletter, Masks & Faces, published six times per year;
—Discounts on RLT workshops;
—Opportunities to apply for RLT scholarships;
—The opportunity to attend the RLT annual general meeting (or even run for office on the RLT board!)
—The opportunity to participate in any play produced by RLT as a member of the cast or crew, subject to audition/approval by the director (and RLT executive).

Block booking discounts are available for single-admittion tickets for large groups, as follows:
