Every year Regina Little Theatre awards the Sampson J. Goodfellow Award (known as the "Sammy" award) to a volunteer for:

• most valuable contribution to RLT; and
• outstanding contribution in the art of theatre.

2008/9 Season

This year’s recipient of the Sammy Award has volunteered a remarkable amount of time and energy to Regina Little Theatre this season.  In fact, it had become a bit of joke that she had a cot somewhere in the building.   

These contributions include:

Ø      performing in two main stage productions

Ø      representing RLT at the Embracing Retirement Showcase

Ø      representing RLT as an apprentice at TheatreFest

Ø      she is RLT’s representative with Theatre Saskatchewan

Ø      she is on the RLT Board responsible for producing the one act plays (which were extremely well attended and a huge  success this year)

Yes, our Sammy Award winner this year is Angel Genereux. 

Angel has only been with RLT since November 2006 and, in that short time, has become a valued asset to our group.  Angel, I know I speak for the Board when I say that your energy and enthusiasm and just plain common sense are so very much appreciated.
