Ethan Claymore

a holiday romantic comedy by Norm Foster
directed by Ken Spencer
• PERFORMANCES: Wed. thru Sat., Dec. 3-6

SYNOPSIS:
What would you get if you crossed It's A Wonderful Life with Dickens' A Christmas Carol and set it in rural Canada on a struggling egg farm?    Why you'd get Ethan Claymore, of course!  This heart-warming holiday romantic comedy is the story of the young reclusive widower, egg farmer and artist (Ethan, played by David Warford), who in the week before Christmas, with a lot of help and nudging from a determined and well-meaning cantankerous neighbour friend (Douglas, played by Glen Butz) and a visit from the spirit of his recently-deceased brother (Martin, played by Kelly Munce), re-enters the world and finds love and laughter again when he receives a visit from a woman (Teresa, the school teacher, played by Meghan Pedersen) who could turn his life around.  From the playwright who gave us these recent RLT shows:  "Kiss the Moon, Kiss the Sun", "Dear Santa", and "Louis & Dave".

CAST ALSO INCLUDES:  Braeden Woods as the Young Ethan, and Mathieu Langlois as the Young Martin.

CREW INCLUDES:  Ken Spencer (director), Christine Haider (stage manager), Holly Day, Nancy Deis, Sandra Andersen, the Gentlemen of the RLT carpentry shop (Fred Gallagher, Rick Harvey, Rod McLeod, Bill Nistor, Barry Uncles, and Harold Woodward), Lyle McMillan (RPAC house technician), Pat Wilson, and others.
