Regina Little Theatre begins its 100th Season of continuous operation next week by re-staging the first full-length play it produced back in 1927.

To mark the achievement, Regina Mayor Chad Bachynski has proclaimed Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, to be “Regina Little Theatre Day.”

Officer 666, a comic farce, will be presented for five performances October 1-4 at the Regina Performing Arts Centre. The Friday evening (Oct. 3) show will be attended by Deputy Mayor Victoria Flores and will be followed by a Green Room Party where the audience can mingle with cast and crew.

Regina Little Theatre was created in May of 1926. By the following November, RLT had opened its first season with a program of one-act plays. They were so well-received that Officer 666 was staged the following February at the Grand Theatre downtown.

RLT has operated continuously ever since, mounting more than 850 productions. As an all-volunteer organization engaging the services of more than 150 unpaid individuals, RLT prides itself on providing high-quality popular entertainment at affordable prices.

Season 100’s mainstage schedule will continue with Miracle on 34th Street (Dec. 3-6, 2025), On Golden Pond (Feb. 11-14, 2026), the non-musical version of Les Miserables (April 1-4) and The Birds and the Bees (June 10-13).
