Shirley Brooks Memorial Scholarship
In 2018, Regina Little Theatre lost valued volunteer and board member, Shirley Brooks. An annual scholarship of $400 has been established to honour Shirley's memory and her support of anti-racism causes. Applicants must be of First Nations, Inuit, or Métis heritage. Scholarship funds must be used for a learning opportunity in the performing arts and will be paid directly to the educational institution offering the class or workshop.
Donations to this fund are gratefully accepted and can be forwarded to Regina Little Theatre, c/o Shirley Brooks Memorial Scholarship.

Regina Little Theatre is pleased to offer three scholarships to its members. These scholarships are awarded annually in honour of life members or as memorial scholarships, the names of which may rotate at the discretion of RLT's Board of Directors.

The criteria for all scholarships are:
- The amount of each scholarship can be up to $400.
- Applicants must be a current member of RLT in good standing.
- Applicants must have been an RLT member for at least one year prior to the application deadline.
- Applicants must have actively participated in RLT before the application deadline.
- Applications must be submitted in writing. Applicants must list recent involvement in RLT and other performing arts organizations. Performing arts resumés and CVs are welcome.
- Scholarships may be used to cover registration or tuition fees for one educational event, such as a class, workshop, lessons, seminar, or conference. This event must occur no earlier than six months prior to and no later than 12 months after the application deadline.
- Applicants must provide information on how the educational event pertains to the performing arts. Drama, theatre, music, and dance, including onstage or behind-the-scenes activities for either live or recorded performing arts (TV, film, multimedia), qualify for funding. Preference will be given to live drama/theatre educational events.
- Applications must be received in the RLT office on or before the application deadline.
